ADÉLA in Atlanta on The Red Bottoms Tour
Just in the last couple of months, the name ADÉLA has become known worldwide. Having rised to super stardom with “Ain’t in LA” and now “Nicole Kidman” off her debut album, PRIMA, hitting #1 in the US on Spotify just in the last week, ADÉLA is competing with the biggest names in music. ADÉLA, who seemingly has natural pink hair according to her fans, has been on tour since the end of August, kicking off in London before the release of the album then The Red Bottoms tour was on to North America at the beginning of September, taking us to our captured night in Atlanta.
It hasn't been that long ago since the last time ADÉLA was in Atlanta. The Slovic pop star recently opened for Demi Lovato on the It's Not That Deep Tour back in May of this year. ADÉLA's sold out night in Atlanta being in Hell, the second largest room at The Masquerade, was crazy in of itself. ADÉLA's popularity and sudden global virality as of today demands a higher room cap, so to be present this night, in a more intimate space than you would be used to for someone of this current status, was quite special.
The set design was simple yet efficient, with the only prop being a hot pink ballet barre, that would be utilized by ADÉLA and her dancers in a few conventional and un-conventional ways. The back up dancers by ADÉLA's side elevated her performance, acting as a vehicle for her bold expression. I expect we'll see ADÉLA headlining arenas on her next tour, on par with her longtime friends in KATSEYE.
