At the end of last month, Ecca Vandal of Melbourne, Australia closed out her U.S. tour in Atlanta, celebrating the release of her first album in almost 10 years, LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW, which she spent years writing and recording. It's an album I've had on repeat leading up until and after the night at The Masquerade in Atlanta. It combines Ecca's roots as a rapper with experimental punk rock which made Atlanta's Scattrbrain, fronted by rapper, Grip, an excellent opener for this tour.

It's not so often an artist connects themself so closely with their fans such as Ecca Vandal did with her audience on tour this fall. During the song "BLEED BUT NEVER DIE," the second most popular song on the album, Ecca invited all of the women in the pit up onto the stage to dance till the music ended.

The completely sold-out show at The Masquerade had to be the most satisfying show of tour for the artist, the crowd matching her energy on the very last night of the leg.
