After only living in New York now for a little less than a year, girlpuppy has already made quite a name for herself in her new city. From befriending polarizing pop icon Lily Allen to appearing in hip chia pet print ads, Becca Harvey hasn't been afraid to put herself at front and center. Following the first anniversary of her album Sweetness last month, indie sweetheart Becca Harvey returned home to Atlanta supporting her new best friend for life, Sarah Kinsley on her headline tour.

Sarah Kinsley whose new EP Fleeting released February 13th, shares a similar sound to greats like Kate Bush, Mitski and a little bit of can I say, Zella Day? The first single, "Fleeting" that released last fall and "Lonely Touch" in January are strong tracks, I think "Truth of Pursuit" is my favorite of the five dreamy pop songs, hearing it live the other night got me thinking that she is heavily inspired by Kate Bush.

Next Month, Harvey's releasing Sweetness (Deluxe) which features a girlpuppified cover of Charli xcx's "I might say something stupid" slotting in with the rest of the album perfectly. The deluxe also includes "Sweetness," the title track that did not end up making the original release as well as acoustic versions of "I Just Do!" and "Champ". girlpuppy may have found a new home in New York City but she'll always be one of the faces of Atlanta's sound as we know it.
