Today, Parker Wierling out of Atlanta releases the next single, "Taking Chances", from his upcoming debut album, of which the title and release date has yet to be revealed. This track, as well as the rest of the songs that will occupy this eventual album, were recorded in Nashville with his producer, Bedon. The song itself was inspired by a complementary mix of a lot of Mylo Xyloto era Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen lyrics about impassioned youth.

The music video, premiering now on Kapoorhouse, was shot on Parker's own personal camcorder, shot by friend, Brennan Bruso. For this video, Parker Wierling not only was the subject of the video, dancing in the dark, but took on the role as director, making this his directorial debut. Throughout the course of the video, Parker swings around a clearly unplugged microphone like he's out in the woods singing karaoke for no one, having the best time, "wasted youth on some wasted nights, dancing under the neon lights of the stars". Check out the video for "Taking Chances" right now, right here.
