If you’ve never seen someone scream into the hollow of an acoustic guitar mid-song, then you clearly weren’t at Friko’s sold out show celebrating the release of their newest album, Something Worth Waiting For.

Lexa Gates Was In and Out of Hell on the I Am Tour
New York rapper Lexa Gates was in and out of Hell at The Masquerade last week. The show started less than an hour after doors, and Gates wasted no time coming onto the stage after Vayda’s short-and-sweet opening set. She wrapped things up by 9:30 p.m., sprinting her way through a 16-song setlist. Her few words to the audience were to express gratitude for them and love for Atlanta.

Wallice Just Brought Her New Untitled Album on Tour
The year was 2024. Just as everyone was wrapping up their year-end lists, Wallice released her debut album, The Jester: her most well-conceived, creatively thought-out project yet. Fast forward a year and a half, Wallice has hung up the red clown nose and just completed touring the US and Canada, performing songs from her currently untitled sophomore album rolling out later this year. After a Quite Tumultuous Pre-Release Period, Parker Wierling Delivers the Music Video for “Blur of Love”: A Beautiful Moving Collage
After quite a tumultuous pre-release period, Atlanta musician Parker Wierling and director Rubnogs have managed to work things out and deliver the “Blur of Love” music video to the world today. “Blur of Love” is the first single from Wierling’s upcoming debut album. It’s a surprisingly danceable tune whose bass and guitar riffs are hidden amongst the reeds of an unsuspecting acoustic melody. The single is a balanced and easy listen, giving us a taste of the nostalgic alternat

Hannah Cohen Takes Audiences on A Journey Through Her Ethereal World
On March 31st at Aisle 5, Hannah Cohen transformed her stage into something ethereal. Known for her dreamy, folk-inspired sound, Cohen’s performance transfixed her audience throughout her intimate set. The venue’s cozy environment only deepened that effect, dissolving the boundary between artist and audience and leaving fans suspended in a shared moment—like one of her own lyrics come to life: “I think I know you well, at least I think I do.” Hannah Cohen at Aisle 5 (Photo: H

Meels Spoke to Us About Across the Raccoon Strait, Her New EP
The self-described “critter country” music of Amelia Einhorn, better known as Meels, is a product of a youth spent playing in creeks hidden amongst the redwood trees of California. In her newest set of songs, Across the Raccoon Strait , she settles into a sound that honors these roots. Meels joined us from her hometown in Northern California to discuss how location impacts her creative process, the catharsis of songwriting, and her debut EP with Lost Highway Records. Meels
